    Developing Science Temperament

    The term scientific temperament can be broadly defined as “a polite open-minded disposition – a disposition always ready to welcome new light, new knowledge, new experiments, even when their results conflict with preconceived opinions and long-cherished principles.” is defined as being prejudicial to “. It is a way of life (defined in this context as an individual and social process of thinking and acting) that uses the scientific method and results in questioning, observing, testing, and hypothesizing physical reality , analyze and involvement. Developing Scientific Temperament involves cultivating a curiosity-driven approach, critical thinking, and the ability to analyse information objectively. In a rapidly evolving world, the cultivation of a scientific temperament is integral to ensuring that individuals are well-prepared to face challenges, promote innovation, and contribute significantly & meaningfully to the betterment of society.

    Scientific activities are conducted in almost all KVs under the Mumbai Region to facilitate the students to cultivate  Scientific Temperament.
